I think both sides of the argument have merit. Under the circumstances (down 8 runs in the 7th inning), I think Collins' made the right move. I would hope that if the game were closer, he would have left Wright in.
Unrelated, but I think it deserves attention - Frank Catalonotto has been a solid addition to MetsBlog.
First of all I didn't see it live, so all I saw was postgame videos, commentary, etc.
I think both come out looking excellent.
Terry is old school (true old school, not like that fehg in Philly), he knows the drill. David has probably been the MVP (in the literal sense) in the NL -this team is essentially a bunch of kids, misfits and an all-star. He has zero protection in the lineup and is still hitting over 400 while playing with a broken finger. If this team has any chance at the 2nd WC a trip to the DL for him ends that.
