Re: BC Women's Soccer Alive, Kicking!-Check Out Coach's Comments

Yeah like the Frozen Four where BC whupped your asses for the National Title 4-1 in 2008, or last year when your number 1 ranked pucksters choked like fagola Puscadores versus Benji The Dog State ranked 37th or a virtual cupcake qualifier in the NCAA's??? How did Boston College do in the NCAA's? BC...

Stanford goes ahead 3-1 to put the game away. Too bad not every school can be in the final four like Notre Dame.

Re: BC/USC game at Gillette ?

The PAC-10 seems to be the only BCS conference does 1 for 1 with other BCS teams. I seem to recall that there is a conference rule limiting home games but I could be wrong. The Pac-10 does not have the luxury that most other conferences have, which is scheduling cupcakes and expecting fans to show ...

Re: BC/USC game at Gillette ?

They students have been a HUGE asset for BC and for them to miss out on a/the marquee home game would be a travesty. I really can't believe that people think that the students would be no-shows for a game against Southern Fucking California. UConn buses their students to all its home games. Solutio...

Re: Notre Dame

Your post was very astute on several points, which I will address one by one. After listening to Charlie claim that he has not been told he is gone tonight, I called one of my ND friends to ask about who he thought would be coaching ND next season. We had a pretty good discussion about Weiss and the...

Re: TOB to UVA

He'd be fired/retired before we ever play UVA again. He'd be fired or retire during the season next year? Didn't realize we were playing them next year. Either way, the point is, I'd rather play one of the weaker coaches in the league every year than every few years. Al Groh is in his ninth season ...

Re: OT- Stuff to do at Notre Dame?

Any suggestions as to what to do the morning of the game? Obviously, the correct answer is tailgating. I don't know how you plan on getting to the game, but there is plenty parking available in White Field ($20) and the Golf Course ($40). White Field is further away, but shuttle buses are run, thou...

Re: Coaching carousel predictions

Typical Domer... now these guys were bad hires. At the time, they were the best things ever. Hell, freaking Weis and Willingham both authored books as they Returned ND to "Glory". I agree with 94 that the entire attitude of the ND fanbase needs to change for them to be successful. That sa...

Re: Coaching carousel predictions

My point was that changing people isn't working because the people they hire all get caught up in tradition bs and you get more of the same. You need a drastic change, someone with some different ideas who isn't afraid to do things differently and not just by hiring some new coach who is the lastes...

Davie, Willingham and Weis all had some credentials and some success in their past before being the HC at ND. Bob Davie had never been a head coach before getting the top job at Notre Dame. Regarding some talk I've read of Saban, the idea that: A. Saban would want to leave Alabama for South Bend B. Alabama would allow ANY school to poach their new coach C. In any case, I think Notre Dame will target Meyer and Stoops but I think they are more likely to end up with Kelly or Harbaugh (their vaunted buyouts are nothing). Re: Coaching carousel predictions

If Cincy loses to Pitt and gets sent to the Car Care Bowl at 11-1, Kelly won't stay at Cincy. Too many higher profile places than the Big East and Cincy will have openings. The bit about "I wouldn't leave for anyplace but BC" is just coachspeak fluff. I don't think Kelly is waiting for BC...

http://i36.tinypic.com/33usbdj.jpg Take a look at the clock in that image. It kept running until 1:57. The extra timeout from the two-minute warning could have helped the Patriots. I don't know if it would have mattered, but it shows that everyone in the stadium knew that play was a...
